Since Bones is between prduction periods, it’s a great time to take a look at what the stars of the show have been up to outside of Bones. TJ Tyne, who plays Hodgins, has been working on several movies. Here’s what he has in store for us:

Shuffle-Actor, Producer 2010
The Last Full Measure - Actor 2010
The Pardon- Father Richard 2009

The Last Full Measure also stars Laurence Fishburne, Brice Willis, Morgan Freeman and Robert Duvall. Wow! those are some heavy hitters! That will probably be a big movie next year. I’ll keep you posted.

The Pardon is a lower budget film, but TJ has one of the two starring roles. As soon as I hear anything about release dates, I’ll let you know.

TJ will also produce and star in a low budget film about a man who experiences life out of order. The movie will be called Shuffle and sounds a tiny bit like Memento, but it’s a great premise and I really look forward to this one!!

Keep Up With Bones People on Twitter

June 2, 2009 by Lynn

twitter_logo_headerEven though the show is in repeats for the summer, we can still keep an eye on developments here and there by following some of the people associated with Bones.

Dr. Gordon Gordon, aka Stephen Fry is one of the most popoular and prolific Twitter users anywhere. And some of the others require a request to follow them. Hey, it never hurts to ask, right? Here’s the collection I have so far.

Bones: Episode 4.24 - “The Beaver in the Otter” Spoiler Photos

Episode 4.24: The Beaver in the Otter
Airdate: April 30, 2009

I just want to say that this episode has one of the most insanely hilarious titles I’ve run across in a while. They must have been laughing during the brainstorming session on this one!

If we read the episode synopsis, we find out that Booth’s brother Jared will be back and Booth will be trying to help him find a new career. We also find out that the “Beaver” is the nickname of the frat boy that was found dead and the “Otter” was the mascot costume for a rival team. Of course! Now it all makes so much sense! ;-)

Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth question a group of college fraternity members in the BONES episode “The Beaver in the Otter” airing Thursday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Bones: Episode 4.22 - “Double Death of the Dearly Departed” Spoiler Photos

Episode 4.22: Double Death of the Dearly Departed
Airdate: April 20, 2009

These are the promotional photos for the upcoming Bones episode, Double Death of the Dearly Departed. I have to admit that they don’t reveal all that much….with the exception of the photos where Booth & Brennan are carrying the body! LOL! I am imagining a hilarious scene with them stealing the coworker’s dead body. It should be great fun!

But if you read the episode synopsis, you’ll also find that Cam will be trying to get her adopted teenage daughter to stop smoking…that could be really interesting, especially for people who have had teens. It also tells us that the man who passed on was from the Egyptology department. With the possibliites of curses, legends, myths and so much more, it might turn out to be a very interesting case!

When Booth (David Boreanaz, second from R), Brennan (Emily Deschanel, R) and the team (L-R: TJ Thyne, Tamara Taylor, Michaela Conlin and John Francis Daley) attend a co-worker’s funeral, they discover the death was no accident in the BONES episode “The Double Death of the Dearly Departed” airing on a special day and time Monday, April 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Episode 4.15: The Princess and the Pear
Airdate: February 9, 2009

This is the episode that Bones fan Meegan played a walk-on role in. Everyone, be sure to watch for her!

It also looks like a fun episode, since it takes place at a Sci-Fi convention. I’ve been to one and people are everywhere in costumes from their favorite Sci-Fi movies, shows and comic books. It’s a blast. And to throw Booth & Brennan into that mix, it’s got to be both hilarious and fun! Check out the press release:

Press Release:
WHEN A FEMALE SCI-FI ENTHUSIAST IS FOUND MURDERED, THE TEAM INVESTIGATES A FANTASY CONVENTION GONE WRONG ON “BONES” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, ON FOX

When a group of eighth-graders find the decomposed body of woman wearing a medieval princess dress, the team is on the scene to investigate. With Booth incapacitated due to a back injury, Agent Payton Perotta (guest star Marisa Coughlin) steps in to help with the investigation. With insight from “squint” Colin Fisher, a self-professed geek and expert in the language of sci-fi, the team identifies the woman as a promotional model from ImagiCon, a convention for fans of comic books, video games and other sci-fi genre entertainment. Brennan and the team must navigate through the outlandish landscape of ImagiCon in order to track down the killer. They soon find the victim may have owned a highly valuable piece of sci-fi memorabilia that many would kill to possess in “The Princess and the Pear” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Feb. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (BON-409) (TV-14 D, L, V)

Cast: Emily Deschanel as Dr. Temperance Brennan; David Boreanaz as FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth; TJ Thyne as Dr. Jack Hodgins; Michaela Conlin as Angela Montenegro; Tamara Taylor as Dr. Camille “Cam” Saroyan; John Francis Daley as Dr. Lance Sweets

Bones Men: Who Was the Best Dressed?

And never let it be said that I am not fair. David Boreanaz and TJ Thyne both looked very handsome at the FOX TCA press tour too. TJ chose to dress it up by wearing the full tie and suit, while David chose to go a little more casual with the open collar (I love the patterned fabric of the shirt!)

I’m not sure who the beautiful woman is that’s with TJ in the photo, but they do look nice together. But what I’m interested in is which of the men dressed just a little more spot-on for the occasion?

TJ Thyne Hanging Out in Hawaii

January 12, 2009 by Lynn

Is it just me, or does TJ Thyne look a bit pensive, or even sad in these photos? And since they were taken by a paparazzo on December 26 in Hawaii, why in the world would he be alone there? All I can say is that he only needed to ask…I would have been thrilled to come along and cheer him up!!! How about you? ;-)
