Michaela Conlin Celebrated TV’s Sexiest Stars
April 18, 2009 by Lynn
We know that Bones star David Boreanaz was among the people named TV Guide’s Top Sexiest TV Stars, but I just found a couple of terrific photos of his co-star Michaela Conlin at the ET Party to celebrate. The event was held at the Sunset Tower Hotel and can you imagine how cool it would have been to be there with all those hot stars? WOW!
So here’s my question, why didn’t Michaela make the list? Look at her! She’s amazing looking! Someone at TV Guide needs to pay attention and put her on the list next time!!

Bones: Episode 4.24 - “The Beaver in the Otter” Spoiler Photos

Episode 4.24: The Beaver in the Otter
Airdate: April 30, 2009
I just want to say that this episode has one of the most insanely hilarious titles I’ve run across in a while. They must have been laughing during the brainstorming session on this one!
If we read the episode synopsis, we find out that Booth’s brother Jared will be back and Booth will be trying to help him find a new career. We also find out that the “Beaver” is the nickname of the frat boy that was found dead and the “Otter” was the mascot costume for a rival team. Of course! Now it all makes so much sense!

Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth question a group of college fraternity members in the BONES episode “The Beaver in the Otter” airing Thursday, April 30 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Bones: Episode 4.22 - “Double Death of the Dearly Departed” Spoiler Photos

Episode 4.22: Double Death of the Dearly Departed
Airdate: April 20, 2009
These are the promotional photos for the upcoming Bones episode, Double Death of the Dearly Departed. I have to admit that they don’t reveal all that much….with the exception of the photos where Booth & Brennan are carrying the body! LOL! I am imagining a hilarious scene with them stealing the coworker’s dead body. It should be great fun!
But if you read the episode synopsis, you’ll also find that Cam will be trying to get her adopted teenage daughter to stop smoking…that could be really interesting, especially for people who have had teens. It also tells us that the man who passed on was from the Egyptology department. With the possibliites of curses, legends, myths and so much more, it might turn out to be a very interesting case!

When Booth (David Boreanaz, second from R), Brennan (Emily Deschanel, R) and the team (L-R: TJ Thyne, Tamara Taylor, Michaela Conlin and John Francis Daley) attend a co-worker’s funeral, they discover the death was no accident in the BONES episode “The Double Death of the Dearly Departed” airing on a special day and time Monday, April 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Michaela Conlin Talks About Being Directed by David Boreanaz
March 15, 2009 by Lynn
Of course, Michaela Conlin had her own take on what it was like working with David Boreanaz in both roles, as director and as actor. She says that in the first scene they worked on, she and Emily Deschanel were in the scene talking about Booth, but they were being directed by David and that it all seemed a bit surreal…
Here, Michaela tells why it was different being directed by a fellow actor than a full-time director. She says that the questions the actors ask him are perceived by him in a different way, since he’s a full-time actor. She seems to have enjoyed the experience.

Episode 4.15: The Princess and the Pear
Airdate: February 9, 2009
This is the episode that Bones fan Meegan played a walk-on role in. Everyone, be sure to watch for her!

It also looks like a fun episode, since it takes place at a Sci-Fi convention. I’ve been to one and people are everywhere in costumes from their favorite Sci-Fi movies, shows and comic books. It’s a blast. And to throw Booth & Brennan into that mix, it’s got to be both hilarious and fun! Check out the press release:
Press Release:
WHEN A FEMALE SCI-FI ENTHUSIAST IS FOUND MURDERED, THE TEAM INVESTIGATES A FANTASY CONVENTION GONE WRONG ON “BONES” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, ON FOX
When a group of eighth-graders find the decomposed body of woman wearing a medieval princess dress, the team is on the scene to investigate. With Booth incapacitated due to a back injury, Agent Payton Perotta (guest star Marisa Coughlin) steps in to help with the investigation. With insight from “squint” Colin Fisher, a self-professed geek and expert in the language of sci-fi, the team identifies the woman as a promotional model from ImagiCon, a convention for fans of comic books, video games and other sci-fi genre entertainment. Brennan and the team must navigate through the outlandish landscape of ImagiCon in order to track down the killer. They soon find the victim may have owned a highly valuable piece of sci-fi memorabilia that many would kill to possess in “The Princess and the Pear” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Feb. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Angela Montenegro Named Best Female Character

Many thanks to Bones fan Liz for letting me know about this. Cinema Blend recently announced their picks for the best of 2008. (Yes, this went into my spam folder….thank goodness I found it.) Among their picks was that of Angela Montenegro as the Best Female Character on TV. Of course, we Bones fans have loved her from the beginning, so it’s not a surprise. But I’m thrilled that Michaela Conlin and her character are getting the recognition they deserve. Here’s what Cinema Blend had to say:
Angela Montenegro - Bones: Bones’ best friend at the Jeffersonian has had a stellar year. While critics consistently wonder at the success of Bones, a show that looked to be on the verge of cancellation when it first appeared, all you have to do is point to the wonderful characters that make the series a perfect companion to House. It also helps that Angela is the non-doctorate common gal who puts things in perspective when cases get gross. She’s often the one to bring up the disgustingness of the gooey mess on the table, and she does the same for the personal lives of the characters as well.

Episode 4.12 - The Double Trouble in the Panhandle
Air Date: January 15, 2009
If you are as eager as I am to see this Bones episode, you are counting down the hours… Here’s the official FOX press release for the episode - the hilarious-looking one where they go undercover in a circus. I laughed the hardest when I saw that Andy Richter will be playing a clown…and Booth is afraid of clowns. LOL!
Press Release:
BOOTH AND BRENNAN INFILTRATE THE BIG TOP AS THEY INVESTIGATE THE DEATHS OF TWO CIRCUS PERFORMERSON THE TIME PERIOD PREMIERE OF “BONES” THURSDAY, JANUARY 15, ON FOX
Andy Richter Guest-Stars
Booth and Brennan investigate the remains of conjoined twins found in a shallow grave in a remote desert area on the Texas-Oklahoma border. Back at the lab, the team determines the skeletal remains to be those of Jenny and Julie, who were jugglers in a traveling circus. Knowing there is no way the circus folk will talk to anyone outside their tight-knit clan, Brennan and Booth must infiltrate the circus community in order to find out more information about the twins’ deaths. Honing Booth’s Ranger knife-throwing skills, the duo goes undercover as knife-throwing act “Buck and Wanda Moosejaw.” As they encounter a variety of suspects among the colorful circus crowd, including ringmaster Henry Simon (guest star Andy Richter), a rather raucous clan of clowns and a tempestuous strong man who may have been romantically involved with one of the twins, Booth and Brennan find the circus experience to be quite the spectacle in the “Double Trouble in the Panhandle” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Jan. 15 (8:00-9:00 PM
ET/PT) on FOX. (BON-406) (TV-14 D, L)
