I was out doing my homework on the actors from Bones to see what they were all up to outside of the show. And imagine my surprise when I found out that Emily Deschanel is in a movie that just opened this past weekend.

I’ve seen a lot of promotion for the movie, but I know that I would just be a blubbering fool if I went to see it. It looks like a total tear-jerker.

I found some wonderful photos of Bones star Emily Deschanel and her boyfriend in Monaco. Apparently, he went with her and they enjoyed the sights before the Monte Carlo TV Festival began.

The scenery is lovely and it looks like they had an amazing time exploring. I especially love the photo where he’s carrying her bag for her and the one where they are holding hands. They look happy together, don’t you think?

Bones star Emily Deschanel’s sister Zooey Deschanel stars in a new movie entitled 500 Days of Summer. So the lucky photographers were able to take photos of the two of them together at on the red carpet at the movie’s premiere on Wednesday. The event was held at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Every time I see photos of these two beautiful women together, I’m just blown away by how much they look alike. I love the dresses they are both wearing in these photos too.

The poll is one where Bones fans can go vote for David Boreanaz & Emily Deschanel for the title of TV Couple With the Best Romantic Chemistry. (I agree, we should all go vote for them.)

The Perez Hilton reference in addressing the accusation that Perez made about Black Eyed Peas star Will.I.Am allegedly assaulting him after the MuchMusic Awards last night. You can read the details here. Hart definitely has a point!!

There’s a petition on the web that’s trying to gain support for the idea of Bones winning an Emmy Award. Or, short of that, perhaps the idea of David Boreanaz and/or Emily Deschanel winning an Emmy is a great idea too.

So what do you think about it? Would you be willing to sign an online petition in support of the idea?

Hart Hanson, executive producer and creator of Bones, says this about the Emmy neglect:

“I think the reason why we don’t get recognized is because we don’t take ourselves too seriously,” Hanson says. “We’re a ‘crimedy’ — a mix between a crime show, a procedural and a comedy. The shows that seem to be honored all the time are the ones that take themselves very seriously, or do one thing very well.”

Hanson says he’s particularly miffed that the stars of “Bones” — David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel — have never been nominated. “That really rankles me. These performers turn on a dime in every scene. I really think they should be in there.”

Here are some really fun video clips of bones star Emily Deschanel at last week’s Monte Carlo TV Festival answering the audience’s questions. The audience included many international press people too so it’s an interesting mix of questions.

In this first clip, Emily answers some questions about the “naked in bed” situation from the season 4 finale. It’s cute that she tells them that the scene can either make some people happy or really make them angry.

She goes on to tell a bit about the baby story line from season 4, socializing outside of work with the other stars, how she got involved with animal rights and about how well she and David work together.

This clip is fun, because Emily talks a bit more about her personal life. She says that she didn’t originally want to be an actress. She was planning to be an architect instead. There’s also some discussion of the advantages and disadvantages of growing up in a show business family. She even discusses what she’s jealous of her sister Zooey about.

There are a few very mildly spoileristic comments about season 5. For example, it’s very likely that Stephen Fry will return and that Cyndi Lauper will be a guest star early in the season. Zooey is a possible guest star too, if they can ever find a time for her to be on the show between her many other projects.

When Emily Deschanel went to Monaco to represent Bones at the Monte Carlo TV Festival, she spoke to groups of international press about the show. The goal is to increase awareness for the show and try to pick up more inernational viewers.

Today, Emily Deschanel sat down to let the photographers snap some beautiful photos of her at the Monte Carlo TV Festival in Monaco. She’s there for a few days to help promote Bones worldwide.

According to Variety, the annual Monte Carlo TV Festival begins on Sunday in Monaco. And there to represent Bones will be Emily Deschanel. It’s only fair, since last year David Boreanaz got to go. She’ll be doing tons of interviews, talking about the show and about past and future seasons. And don’t worry, I’ll be reporting everything as soon as I can find it. Some may be a bit more elusive since it’s not in the US, but I’ll do my best!

We also know that there will be lots of photo opportunities, so I’ll be posting lots of photos of Emily from the event. So be sure to check back often!
