Episode 4.26: The End in the Beginning

There’s been a ton of buzz about this Bones season 4 finale. We know it’s the episode where Booth & Brennan end up in bed together. We also know that there will be some crazy reason for the lab to become “The Lab”, a nightclub with rock bands performing. And we know that nearly all the past cast members will be back for the episode. (I still want to see Eric Millegan return to play Zack as a regular in season 5…are you listening, Mr. Hanson?) ;-)

All in all, it should be a very spectacular episode! Here’s a run-down of all the spoilers we have for this episode. I can’t wait!!

]]> FOX has released a bunch of video clips of the Bones cast members telling us what to expect in the finale this season, the excitement of all the guest stars in the episode and how all of the regular cast members will be doing other things…a dream sequence…? I guess we have to wait to find out.

In this first clip, TJ Thyne is obviously very excited about the fact that both Mötley Crüe and Dayplayer will be on this episode. He seems pretty jazzed to have the bands on set that day:

And here, Tamara Taylor tells us how cool it’s going to be to have all the old cast members return for the episode. I wonder what she means tha Hart Hanson has cleverly written the way they all turn up…. Hmmm…

In this one, John Francis Daley tells us about his band being on the episode and a bit about the finale’s plot. And hey, his band is making their TV debut. Very cool!

Of course, Michaela Conlin tells us the latest word on the Hodgela situation. Then she tells us all about how much she loved having all the guest stas on the episode, including the bands:

Episode 4.26: The End in the Beginning
Airdate: May 14, 2009

This Bones finale B-roll clip is fantastic! For those of you who are new to the term “B-roll” it’s what they call the behind the scenes filming that includes all the cameras and the crew. It shows us what they had to get set up to film the shot.

This one’s very cool because it shows Mötley Crüe doing a sound check on the set, then it shows the cast, the extras and Mötley Crüe filming their performance. It’s amazing all the equipment that’s necessary for a scene like this one…and doesn’t it look like it was a load of fun to be there?

After the performance scene, Mötley Crüe headed backstage to greet the make-up department and the crew before they bounced. Next we get to see the filming of John Francis Daley’s group Dayplayer (aka Gormagon) doing their performance. How cool!

(And for fans of Dayplayer, I’ve added a link to their MySpace site in the sidebar of this blog.) It’s interesting to note that when I helped interview John Francis Daley in February, I asked him about Dayplayer and he said that they had all been off doing their own things and had just gotten back together…no mention of being on Bones.

Episode 4.21: The Cinderella In The Cardboard
Airdate: April 15, 2009

Here are some photos from Bones episode 4.21, The Cinderella In The Cardboard, that will air on April 15.

The premise seems to be that a body is found between flattened cardboard at a recycling center. We don’t know yet why the title refers to “Cinderella”, but the cardboard seems pretty obvious, given the location. If you check out the fourth picture, it seems that Daisy will be back and is with Sweets, so that could be fun to see too. Don’t you like the way Booth & Brennan are looking at each other in this first photo?
