The show Bones is based loosely on the series of books about a forensic anthropologist named Temperance Brennan that are written by author Kathy Reichs. The wonderful news is that she publishes a new book about once each year. And even better, they usually come out during the time that the show is in between seasons. So she helps us get through the break!

I have been checking daily for news about the new Bones Season 3 DVD release date. The rumors had been that it wouldn’t be out until sometime in December. But today, they finally let us know that it will be released in the US and Canada on November 18, 2008. (Bones fan Annie in Sweden tells me it will be released there on 17 December.) And contrary to the rumors of a one-disc season, it will be 5 discs.
