Description #1: A trip to Vegas to identify a body is complicated when a more recent body is found nearby.
Description #2: Booth and Bones go to Las Vegas to investigate a case from 2001 where a man never made it to the speech he was to deliver – but his car was found near his office, engine running. Description #1: When Hodgins and Brennan are buried alive, it’s a race against time and a kidnapper who doesn’t negotiate.
Description #2: The episode opens to a few cast members believing they are buried alive by the “Grave Digger”. We then reverse to 48 hours earlier, where Booth and Brennan are at a crime scene that has locals thinking it’s an alien ship and remains. A case at the FBI is linked, and they view a tape sent by the “Grave Digger” revealing people buried alive he claims to be aliens. Season 2, Episode 10 (2.10): The Headless Witch in the Woods

Description #1: The headless skeleton of a young man is found in a state forest, and Brennan and Booth’s investigation becomes entangled in the local legend of a woman accused of witchcraft who was decapitated in the 1780s and is said to still haunt the forest.
Description #2: The episode starts with a few members of the team thinking they are buried alive by the “Grave Digger.” Fast forward 48 hours earlier, when Brennan and Booth are at a crime scene in the woods. The police on site are freaked out as they think they have found a flying saucer and aliens. The case is soon linked to a FBI case involving a kidnapping. A FBI agent plays a tape sent by the “Grave Digger” in which he reveals that he buried alive two men (the “aliens”). This puts the team on the “Grave Digger’s” path… Hodgins, Cam, and Zach, also appear.
Description #3: While investigating the death of Graham Hastings, Brennan develops a strong bond with the deceased’s brother, Will, when she learns that they share something in comment. Graham was a film student currently shooting a documentary about the legend of the headless witch who haunted woods in the 1700s. Zach is asked to perform a ritual for the preservation of the soul. Season 2, Episode 11 (2.11): Judas on a Pole

Booth and Brennan learn that a dead FBI agent was working on a case of corrupt members of a bank robbery task force that decided to frame civil rights activity Bobby Page in the 70s. They ask that the agent’s remains be recovered from his grave as they believe the Bobby Page case was manufactured. Is Booth ready to deal with the consequences of him investigating the death of a former FBI agent? Russ, Brennan’s brother, introduced to her and Booth Father Toby Coulter (played by Ryan O’Neil). The latter claims he has been given a message for her by her father: “Back off.” Zack has to defend a dissertation he wrote in front of a judgmental professor and his colleague. Season 2, Episode 12 (2.12): The Man in the Cell

Description #1: After Howard Epps orchestrates an escape from his penitentiary, he starts picking off the Jeffersonian team one by one and taunting Brennan with clues to save them.
Description #2: Serial killer Howard Epps (played by Heath Freeman) is awaiting trial but seems to have escaped… Booth and Brennan are ordered to his cell after the charred remains of an unidentified inmate are found. We learn more about Epps disturbed childhood when the duo meet with Geraldine Epps, the morbidly obese and abuse mother of Howard, who taught him that no woman is innocent. Cam’s life is in danger after she inhaled a toxin while performing the autopsy for Epps’ ex-wife. Epps seems to be on a revenge path when Parker’s life is also put in danger. Season 2, Episode 13 (2.13): The Girl in the Gator
Original Air Date: 7 February 2007
Description #1: A girl’s arm – found in an alligator – sends the investigation to a video sleaze king and a rabid Christian, but all of this is without Booth who’s been ordered to a psychiatrist after an incident with his gun, and Bones has to get used to a new partner.
Description #2: Brennan must work with another FBI agent, Tim Sullivan, when Booth is ordered to go see a therapist. Booth gives advice to Tim on how to handle Brennan when working on a case. The new duo investigates the death of college freshman Judy Dowd who took part in a “Girls Gone Wild” type of video in which drunk college-age women are asked to flash their bodies and make out. Season 2, Episode 14 (2.14): The Man in the Mansion

Description #1: Hodgins’ lapse in judgment may cause a murderer to be set free, Brennan explores the world of dating, and Booth continues his therapy.
Description #2: Terry Bancroft, a wealthy philanthropist doing volunteer work at an at-risk youth center, is found dead in his house by his wife Clarissa. Robert Fraiser, the center’s director, is arrested as their prime suspect. Caroline Julian’s (from episode 1.19) ex-husband, attorney David Barr, is assigned to Robert Fraiser’s case. A past relationship Hodgins had with Clarissa Bancroft puts a strain on the case. Booth, Brennan, and Agent Tim Sullivan also appear. [Spoiler]
Season 2, Episode 15 (2.15): Bodies in the Book
Original Air Date: 14 March 2007
Description #1: Just as Temperance is preparing to publicize her latest book, bodies start showing up that are eerily similar to the victims in her mystery novel.
Description #2: Brennan has a new book on the bestsellers list and must do some advertising of it, such as book signing and interviews. Booth and Brennan investigate the deaths of a man found dead on an anchor in the water and another found in a cage with rats; two cases highly similar to those written by Brennan… Angela, Hodgins, Zack, and Cam also appear.
Description #3: The Jeffersonian team investigates a string of murders that seems to mimic the fictional killings portrayed in Brennan’s latest book. Meanwhile, Brennan’s feelings of guilt take a toll on her relationship with Sully. Sully: Eddie McClintock. Oliver Laurier: Chris Conner.

Season 2, Episode 16 (2.16): The Boneless Bride in the River

Description #1: Bones is called back from vacation – several times – after a boneless body is found, and Sully has a proposition.
Description #2: A woman’s body is found with all the bones extracted, and the resulting investigation interrupts Brennan and Sully’s vacation. It’s later discovered that the victim’s skeleton may have been used in an ancient Chinese ritual. Meanwhile, Sully propositions Brennan with a life-changing opportunity. Sully: Eddie McClintock.
Description #3: Sullivan and Brennan are on vacation on a boat. There time together is interrupted when Booth asks for their help with a case. The remains of a Chinese immigrant are found in a trunk. Her ex-fiancé is suspected of having killed the woman to sell part of her bones to another Chinese family so they could perform an after-death marriage ritual called “Minghun.” [Spoiler #1][Spoiler #2]
Season 2, Episode 17 (2.17): The Priest in the Churchyard

Description #1: When Booth and Brennan keep butting heads in a case involving a Catholic church, he convinces her to see Dr. White with him, and Hodgins suggest a change in his and Angela’s relationship.
Description #2: Even if both have highly different beliefs on how should deceased be buried, Zack and Brennan go to an historical cemetery next to a church to piece together various remains. A few hours earlier, the water main pipe exploded under the cemetery, which caused all coffins to burst out of the ground and remains to be spilled all over the place. The two of them have to not only deal with the mixed up remains but also with Fathers Matt and Donlan, who don’t seem to be on the same page. Brennan’s work will get more complicated when she finds a body that was recently buried in the old cemetery. Booth is eventually brought on the case. Angela, Hodgins, and Cam also appear.
Description #3: A water main bursts in the middle of the night at the historic St. Agathas church cemetery, leaving the cemetery grounds littered with coffins and their once-peaceful inhabitants, and Brennan is called in to identify and help re-inter the remains. Father Matt, a newly installed priest, has informed Brennan and Zack that the last burial in the cemetery took place over 50 years ago, but Brennan finds a skull buried less than five years ago, leading them to believe the body was buried to hide a murder. After meeting some opposition from cantankerous head priest Father Donlan, Brennan and Zack deem the once-consecrated ground a crime scene. They take the remains back to the Jeffersonian, where Booth is offended by Brennans lack of respect for his or anyone elses religious beliefs, and the two struggle to find their rhythm, which has been disrupted ever since Sully left. Booth insists Brennan come with him to see his therapist, Dr. Wyatt (guest star Stephen Fry), in hopes that Wyatt can help their relationship and get things back on track between them. Meanwhile, Hodgins and Angelas romance heats up and Hodgins makes a bold move to advance things between them, taking Angela completely off-guard. When Booth and Angela return to the church to pass out sketches of the unidentified murder victim from the cemetery, a young parishioner identifies the sketch as the former parish priest Father Matt had replaced a short time ago. As Father Matt grows mysteriously ill and Brennan and Booth attempt to trace the details of the murdered priests disappearance, they must determine who is playing God and taking lives into his own hands in The Priest in the Churchyard episode. Season 2, Episode 18 (2.18): The Killer in the Concrete

Description #1: Booth’s investigation into a presumed dead hit man turns quite dangerous, and Brennan ends up turning to an unlikely source for help.
Description #2: Booth and Brennan go to a construction site where a K-9 unit found a cadaver in cement. But Bones is of little use as she cannot see much of any bone. With the help of Cam, Angela, and Zack, Brennan will be able to gather more information from the body. Booth meets with bounty hunter Veleska Miller, a beautiful woman in her thirties, to get information about a man named Hugh Kennedy. The case goes sour and Booth ends up duct-taped to a chair… FBI will soon gather a research team to locate Booth. Max Keenan (played by Ryan O’Neil) guest stars.

A partial skeleton is found encased in cement, and Brennan, Booth and the Jeffersonian team are called in to investigate. Booth suspects the victim was killed by Hugh Kennedy, a member of a dangerous organized crime family. Complicating his plan to find and arrest Kennedy is the claim by a bounty hunter that she saw Kennedy burn to death in a car explosion, but the facts dont add up for Booth, and he tries to lure him out of hiding. But when Booth goes after Kennedy, the plan doesnt go as he envisioned and Kennedy kidnaps Booth, leaving Brennan to try to find Booth before he suffers the same fate as the original victim. Meanwhile, visiting her mothers grave, Brennan is paid a surprise visit by her father Max (guest star Ryan ONeal), who attempts to get her to listen to what he has to say about her deceased mother. Brennan is not willing to indulge her criminal father and does not hesitate to call the police, but Max is gone before they arrive. Max shows up again at her apartment, and still cant get her to listen to him before calling the police, but Brennans reactions let Max knows he may be starting to get through to his daughter. After Booth disappears, Brennan turns to her father, who has extensive experience in avoiding the law, for help in finding Booth. As Booths life and the life of his son are threatened for information he has on the case, Brennan and her father make an unlikely team who race to find Booth before its too late in The Killer in the Concrete episode of BONES airing Wednesday, April 4 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Season 2, Episode 19 (2.19): Spaceman in a Crater

Description #1: Bones and her team must determine how a man was flattened in a pasture when his injuries don’t coincide with the theory of the crime; Hodgins tries again.

Season 2, Episode 20 (2.20): The Glowing Bones in ‘The Old Stone House’

Glowing bones are found at an old stone house, and Brennan and Booth come to investigate. After being checked for radioactivity (and discovering none), the bones are sent to the Jeffersonian where the team identifies the victim but cannot explain the green glow. The whole team gets involved as each of their specialties is needed, and they’re led to a group of friends. The Jeffersonian team uses the friends’ MySpace.com pages to find answers and information.
Season 2, Episode 21 (2.21): Stargazer in a Puddle

As the wedding approaches, the team investigates the life/death of a little girl. Bones’s father shows up, with an heirloom and a message from her mother.
Season 2, Episode 22 (2.22): Player Under Pressure

The team works on identifying bones from a college athlete who suffered a lot of fractures. After the deceased has been identified, Booth and Brennan talk with his sister, African-American Kamaria Manning, and George Francis, who acted as a sort of advisor for the deceased. Booth and Brennan learn that Francis had a fight with the dead man a week ago. Is it what lead to the athlete’s death? The team’s investigation also has them question people about a possible drug usage by the athlete. Angela and Hodgins have an important talk while studying a cockroach. Zack is overwhelmed by having to reconstruct the crushed bones to form a complete skeleton. Cam also appears. [Spoilers]
