Those of us who watch Top Chef Masters on Bravo saw last night that the next episode will give the master chefs the challenge of catering an event for Zooey Deschanel and her friends. There’s no word yet about whether or not her older sister Emily Deschanel will be a part of it or not, but I’ll let you know once I find out. To be on the safe side, though, you should probably try to record or watch the episode, just in case. ;-)

The chefs will find out that the challenge isn’t as easy as they might at first think. Zooey will give them the special limitations for the meal. For one thing, we already know it will have to be vegan. That alone is a big challenge for chefs that aren’t familiar with the vegan diet. But who knows what other limitations the chefs will be given.

If you aren’t already a viewer of the series, I suggest you watch at least the next episode. It promises to be interesting!

Bones – Zack Spoiler at Comic Con

Emily Deschanel & Hart Hanson talked about the possibility of Eric Millegan returning to Bones to play Zack at all this season. It doesn’t sound all that promising to me, but they don’t close the door on the possibility.

The audience also asks Hart whether or not we’ll ever get to find out what Brennan was writing while Booth was in the coma. I had thought she had been writing what Booth was dreaming, but I guess I must have been wrong…

Bones – Jared Booth Spoilers at Comic Con

In this clip, after some joking around with the audience and the revelation of Emily Deschanel’s broken toe, Hart Hanson and she give the Comic Con audience some scoop about Brennan & Jared Booth, Seeley’s brother. She says that she likes working with Brendan Fehr and that she likes the story line. Sadly, there’s not a lot more than that. But at least we know he’ll be back. I like his character.

Bones – Emily Deschanel & Hart Hanson at Comic Con

This clip is where Hart Hanson & Emily Deschanel talk about how Cyndi Lauper became interested on being a guest star on Bones. Hart apparently had used the writers’ strike as a ruse to keep him from taking the song Girls Just Want to Have Fun out of the script. Emily ended up singing it in the episode and it got Cyndi’s attention. Pretty crafty on his part, right?

Emily also tells just a bit about how Cyndi Lauper will play into a case on the show. She also tells about the use of animals in the circus episode. She and Hart go on to talk about Brennan’s opinions about animals and how they may be similar or different to Emily’s.

Bones – More Comic Con Spoilers

Emily Deschanel & Hart Hanson talked more at Comic Con about the season 4 finale of Bones and what it was like to film the love scenes. Hart says that he has it all on DVD and may release it someday. Emily also explains the scene when Booth asks Brennan, “Who are you?”

They both also address the issue of a Booth/Brennan baby. The interviewer asks for just a little too much information about some portions of the baby situation… And we find out that David Boreanaz will be directing Bones‘ 100th episode. That’s exciting too.

I love how they tease each other and get along so well.

Bones David Boreanaz Addressed Comic Con

July 30, 2009 by Lynn

As I told you eiarlier, David Boreanaz was unable to go to Comic Con this year, because he’s on baby watch. His wife Jaime could go into labor any second with their new baby. I think it’s great that he’s staying near her for the event. It just confirms what we already know about what a terrific guy he is!

But he did record a video clip to show at Comic Con and it’s definitely worth watching. He starts out by making fun (in a nice way) of Bones creator Hart Hanson. I had to chuckle when he told the audience what Hart would be doing if he had been there. ;-) And he even give the audience a view of the socks he was wearing. Then he thanked everyone for making the show a success.

Then Hart tries to explain the so-called “sex scene”. Enjoy:

Bones Spoilers From Comic Con

The folks who attended Comic Con not only got a chance to see Emily Deschanel, but also Bones creator & executive producer Hart Hanson give the crowd a few slight spoilers for season 5 of the show. This is the scoop from E! Online, but the second part of it, we already know.

I am interested in where the new season will pick up. It seems that Tempe actually will go to Guatamala after all and Booth will have recovered a bit. So now I wonder how quickly his memory starts to return…

Next Season Teasers: It’s not yet determined if we’ll get another sex scene this season. We’re guessing no. But Hart did say of the finale sex scene, “I have the raw footage. We may have to put it on a DVD some day.” What we do know about the next season is that it picks up six weeks later and after Bones returns from a trip to Guatemala. We also know that her baby plans are on hold and that Booth is still in a state of confusion at the season opener.

Also coming up next season is guest star Cyndi Lauper, who plays a psychic who is involved in a case and also gives her insight on the pair. (“Yeah, she may see me with a certain man,” teased Emily.) And yes, the casting came about after Emily sang Cyndi’s ’80s hit “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” on a previous episode. “That’s what Cyndi saw and got in touch with us and said she’d like to be on the show. She’s in the season opener,” said Hart. [Source: E! Online]

Comic Con Photos for Bones

Comic Con logoEmily Deschanel was at Comic Con this year, along with Bones creator Hart Hanson. They held a panel discussion and gave a few spoilers for the new season at the event too. I’ll give you several posts with the information, so I can organize it a bit for you. David Boreanaz’s wife Jaime is pregnant and can go into labor at any moment, so he did not attend the event.

First of all, here are a couple of photos of them at the event:

Summertime Site Housekeeping

Yes, it’s summertime. In many ways, that’s a good thing. But for Bones fans, it’s a frustrating time of the year. We have no new episodes to watch and very little new information about the show to learn.

It’s especially tough for bloggers like me who try to come up with new and interesting things to report to keep other Bones fans occupied until the new season starts. So today I spent a big part of the afternoon updating the informational pages for this site. They needed some new information added to make them current, especially the cast bio pages. And with the new look and feel of the site, the old layouts just weren’t working any more.

So now, if you look in the navigation bar at the top of the site, you’ll see the drop-down menus for the pages I have had time to update so far. By all means, if there’s something that doesn’t work right for you or if I’ve neglected important information, please email me the details and I’ll do my best to get things fixed asap! (email: lynn[at]b5media[dot]com)

Here are the page listings too, just in case things aren’t working quite right in the navigation bar, just yet:
