I wasn’t going to do a lot of reporting on the death of actress Farrah Fawcett today, but since Ryan O’Neal plays Tempe’s father on Bones, and since I ran across this photo, I just had to share it.
Farrah lost her battle with cancer today and this photo was taken of Ryan O’Neal as he left the hospital. He looks like he’s in shock and is horribly sad. Just seeing this photo makes me very sad too.
If you have a moment today, I hope you’ll join with me in sending comforting thoughts and prayers to Ryan and to all the people who loved Farrah. Thanks.

My deepest condolences to her family and to Ryan. The world lost a beautiful and talented star.
My sincerest condolences for Farrah’s family and to Ryan. A light has been lost from the world. x
RIP Farrah
I was so saddened to hear of Farrah’s death & send my prayers for her, Redmond & of course her love Ryan O’Neal.
In Prayer & Love
Farrah was awesome… she has done more for cancer than many people realize.
She’s courageous and well deserving of all the kind words and more. I was touched by her story and very saddened by her loss… I was TOO hoping for a Farrah Miracle.
I pray that the presence of our loving God will comfort Ryan and his son Redmond and all family and friends of Farrah. I feel as if I knew her–ever since I’ve seen “Farrah’s Story” in May, I have realized that she was a very kind and caring person, and a very brave person as well.
My condolences go out to you, Ryan, and everyone close to you.
My sympathies go out to Ryan and his son on the loss of their cherished partner and mother, Farrah Fawcett. I cried when I heard the news.
My condolences to Ryan,Redmond and the rest of the family. She will dearly be missed even though I never met her ,but wanted to.She will always be an angel.RIP FARRAH.
I echo the condolences to Ryan, his family, and friends of Farrah. She will be missed. I do hope we see more of Ryan in the upcoming season of Bones. I can’t picture anyone else playing Tempe’s father. He’s a great actor.
