Michaela Conlin Talked to Hollywood 411
March 26, 2009 by Lynn
I just found this terrific interview that Bones star Michaela Conlin did with Hollywood 411 recently. She talks quite a bit about Angela’s rocky relationship history and about Roxy (who is out of her life again now) and her consideration of celibacy for the next six months. I love how she describes Angela being celibate as being like putting a cap back on a really fizzy bottle of soda.
She also says that she thinks Hodgins is the love of Angela’s life and hopes that they eventually do end up back together. Then she confirms again what we have heard about the finale…
Emily Deschanel is a Cover Girl Again

Many thanks to Bones fan Bamboloccia for the tip about the fact that Emily Deschanel is on the April ‘09 issue of Health Magazine. We all know that she is a vegan and is strong advocate for animal rights and the environment, but she’s also a very happy and healthy person.
I don’t have a copy of this issue, but will have to go out and get one. But my guess is that since it looks like there’s an article in it about “7 Habits of Really Happy Women,” that it might include something with Emily.
I can’t wait to find out what her article is about. Be sure to watch for an update! Or, you can rush out and get a copy of the issue and find out for yourself.
David Boreanaz on the Rachel Ray Show Yesterday
March 25, 2009 by Lynn
Somehow, I missed David Boreanaz’s appearance on the Rachel Ray Show yesterday. But thanks to Bones fan Daniela, who sent me the tip about this full clip of his appearance, none of us have to miss it after all! Thanks so much!!
In the interview, he tells her about directing the episode with a monkey, fast cars, a hot air balloon jump and the dancing women. It’s a man’s dream.
The things he explains about working with the monkey are pretty interesting. Who knew they were that difficult to be with?
And then she calls him out on the fact that he’s a big fan of America’s Best Dance Crew. Alright!! That’s so cool! And she asks him if he break dances, but he tells her that he used to own parachute pants and does some popping and locking. (Totally not break dancing, but a lot of people mix them up.) You need to watch him demonstrate his dancing moves. He’s not half bad!
Victory For Bones Fans!!! Thanks for Speaking Up!!!

Great news, Bones fans! With all of us speaking out, FOX decided not to push the finale to next season after all. We get the bedroom scene with B&B, Zack and others returning to the episode and all the other great stuff we’ve been promised for so long this season. Sadly, we will lose one episode this season instead. I still think it’s not fair to make us lose an hour of Bones in season 4, but at least it’s not that juicy finale we’ve all been waiting for.
It’s no doubt that the PTB at FOX heard from all of us irate fans about their Bones-headed plan to bump the finale. (pun intended, sorry…) I want to thank all of you who spoke up, commented and wrote to FOX about your unhappiness at the situation. Maybe they do listen after all…maybe.
Here’s the episode to get moved to S5, as Korbi at Zap2It reports:
Instead, they’ve axed ep 4.18 “Beaver in the Otter” (otherwise known on fan sites as ep 4.24, episode numbers are wonky this season due to several year 3 episodes being pushed last spring).
Just one more VERY IMPORTANT thing to make note of…it seems to be a sure thing about a season 5 of Bones… Now THAT’S great news!
David Boreanaz is One of the Top Sexiest Men on TV
March 24, 2009 by Lynn
I know what you’re thinking. Hey, we knew that already!
You’re right, but isn’t it great that TV Guide will give him that official honor too?
Here’s a great little clip for us all to drool over. It’s a behind the scenes look at the TV Guide photo shoots and some words from the Sexiest Stars on TV, including David Boreanaz. He’s among very good company too. My other TV crush, Simon Baker is on the list along with a ton of other male and female hotties. So, sit back, relax and hit the play button. Enjoy!

This sounds so great! Angela’s father is coming to town because he’s mad at Hodgins. Hey, they were supposed to get married, right? I can’t wait to see how this piece of the episode works out!
And the case the team will be working on is a fascinating one too. Imagine finding a meteorite shard in a dead body. How often does that happen? I can’t wait for this one!

Bones Spoiler Roundup
March 21, 2009 by Lynn

Today, I have three new spoiler alerts for you. The spoilers about the remainder of the Bones season are flying!
This first spoiler is from Kristin at E! She answers a question about whether Angela and Hodgins (Hodgela) will get back together on the show any time soon:
Spoiler:
Emily in Tulsa, Okla.: When the H are Angela and Hodgins getting back together on Bones? Seriously, we want a full-fledged reconciliation with some lovin’ to spare!
No time soon. As Bones bosses Stephen Nathan and Hart Hanson told us last week, there’s nothing coming in the finale. But Hart says, “We’ve always thought that Angela and Hodgins were a couple that should be together. They’re destined to be together, but, boy, it’s going to be a long, hard road for them.” [Source: E!Online]
And this spoiler from Korbi at Zap2It has some information for us about Booth’s brother Jared. And it looks like things won’t be that smooth between the brothers the next time we see them together:
Spoiler:
Anything on “Bones”? It’s been a while. -Fahim
Look for the return of Booth’s brother Jared (Brendan Fehr) this spring. Seems the elder Booth is trying to secure a job for his baby brother, who lost his previous position when he helped save Seeley from the Gravedigger. I’m told the two siblings will get into a huge fight and some damaging words will be exchanged. [Source: Zap2It]
And this is the most scoop we’ve gotten so far about the episode where Cam’s former fiancé gets eaten by a tiger at the zoo. I feel sad for her already…
Spoiler:
Question: How about some Bones scoop? –Amy
Ausiello: The March 26 episode is a big one for Tamara Taylor’s Cam, who discovers that her ex-boyfriend has been murdered. “This was the love of her life,” explains exec producer Hart Hanson. “She lived with him for two years and raised his daughter. She now has to go back and tell the now-16-year-old daughter — who doesn’t remember her — that her father is dead. It’s a very emotional episode for us. And Tamara is brilliant in it.” [Source: EW]

BOOTH AND BRENNAN INVESTIGATE THE CALL OF THE WILD ON “BONES” THURSDAY, MARCH 26, ON FOX
Chad Lowe (“24″) Guest-Stars
The half-eaten body of a doctor is found in the tiger cage at the zoo following a hospital charity event, and Booth and Brennan determine the death was no accident. The team soon identifies the victim as Dr. Andrew Welton, and Cam reveals that she was engaged to Welton and lived with him 10 years ago. Though she is devastated by the loss, she nonetheless joins in the investigation to help find Dr. Welton’s killer for the sake of his 16-year-old daughter who Cam once helped raise, potentially creating a life-changing situation for Cam. The team pieces together Dr. Welton’s final evening as they question the suspects, including Brandon Casey (guest star Lowe), whom Sweets and Angela must hypnotize in order to jog his memory about what he saw the night of the gala. Meanwhile, lust is in the air at the Jeffersonian and Angela is obsessed by sexual thoughts as she tries to maintain her self-imposed celibacy in “The Doctor in the Den” episode of BONES airing Thursday, March 26 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Bones: Zack and Others to Return to Show
March 19, 2009 by Lynn

At least there is a bit of good news to report about Zack returning to Bones soon. Not that he’s coming back for good. (We can only hope about that…) But he will be back for the May 16 episode, according to Michael Ausiello. He talked to Stephen Nathan and got information about it for us, including info about some of the other favorites we can expect back then too.
Spoiler:
Question: What’s the latest on Zack returning to Bones? –Will
Ausiello: The latest is he’s probably definitely most likely going to be in the finale on May 14. And he won’t be the only Bones alum appearing in the ep. “The finale is pretty much going to have everyone who has ever been on the show,” reveals exec producer Stephen Nathan, who says Patricia Belcher (Caroline) and Ryan O’Neal (Max) are among the MVPs slated to join Eric Millegan (Zack). “It’s going to be an interesting last episode of the season. Very different for us, but it should make sense in the context of the season.” [Source: EW]
Attention Bones Fans: Let FOX Know This is Unacceptable!!
March 19, 2009 by Lynn
![]() [Image: © 2009 FOX Broadcasting Co.] |
Korbi at Zap2It just released this little tidbit of horrible information. I was both shocked and angry that they would do this to us!! She says that FOX could push back the B&B hooking up scene until the beginning of next season!! This isn’t fair! They’ve been telling us about this since I spoke to the writing team last August.
I’m hoping that it isn’t true, but just in case, Bones fans unite! Leave a comment and let FOX know that we think this is totally unacceptable!!
Here’s the bad news:
So, apparently Booth and Bones may not hook up in this year’s season finale after all. Whaa–? Why? Ask President Obama. I just found out our fearless leader is kind of a c-ck block.
Because of Obama’s press conference next Tuesday, a few prime time scheduling tweaks must be made, and the “Bones” finale could end up being a casualty. Though FOX has not yet made a definite decision, word is, the romantic crime drama will lose an hour to “American Idol” since “Idol” obviously can’t just cut an episode (I mean, as far as I’m concerned, they could actually reduce every single ridiculous results show to eight solid minutes… but you know what I’m saying).
This plan, which FOX is dead seriously considering right now, would push the much talked about “Bones” finale — the episode in which we’ve been promised some no nonsense B&B bedroom action — back to the start of next season.
So, thoughts? If this is something you hard core “Bones” fans can’t possibly accept, you better start commenting, because FOX is apparently going to make a final ruling on this any time now…
