What Do You Want Me To Ask John Francis Daley?

I will be taking part in a conference call interview on Tuesday February 3 with none other than Sweets! That is to say that John Francis Daley will be answering questions about the current season of Bones. It has worked so well in the past to have you tell me what you want me to ask that I decided to do it again.
So what do you want me to ask John? Do you want to know how it feels to join a cast after three seasons, or do you want to know things about working with the other actors? Or do you want to know about the other projects John is working on outside of Bones?
Whatever you want to know, please let me know and I’ll do my best to ask. And just like in the past, when I’m only one of the people asking the questions, I usually only get a chance to ask 1 or 2 questions, so I’ll try to choose the ones you want to know about the most. Thanks for your input!
I’m looking forward to hearing what you want to ask!

Episode 4.15: The Princess and the Pear
Airdate: February 9, 2009
This is the episode that Bones fan Meegan played a walk-on role in. Everyone, be sure to watch for her!

It also looks like a fun episode, since it takes place at a Sci-Fi convention. I’ve been to one and people are everywhere in costumes from their favorite Sci-Fi movies, shows and comic books. It’s a blast. And to throw Booth & Brennan into that mix, it’s got to be both hilarious and fun! Check out the press release:
Press Release:
WHEN A FEMALE SCI-FI ENTHUSIAST IS FOUND MURDERED, THE TEAM INVESTIGATES A FANTASY CONVENTION GONE WRONG ON “BONES” THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, ON FOX
When a group of eighth-graders find the decomposed body of woman wearing a medieval princess dress, the team is on the scene to investigate. With Booth incapacitated due to a back injury, Agent Payton Perotta (guest star Marisa Coughlin) steps in to help with the investigation. With insight from “squint” Colin Fisher, a self-professed geek and expert in the language of sci-fi, the team identifies the woman as a promotional model from ImagiCon, a convention for fans of comic books, video games and other sci-fi genre entertainment. Brennan and the team must navigate through the outlandish landscape of ImagiCon in order to track down the killer. They soon find the victim may have owned a highly valuable piece of sci-fi memorabilia that many would kill to possess in “The Princess and the Pear” episode of BONES airing Thursday, Feb. 19 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Angela Montenegro Named Best Female Character

Many thanks to Bones fan Liz for letting me know about this. Cinema Blend recently announced their picks for the best of 2008. (Yes, this went into my spam folder….thank goodness I found it.) Among their picks was that of Angela Montenegro as the Best Female Character on TV. Of course, we Bones fans have loved her from the beginning, so it’s not a surprise. But I’m thrilled that Michaela Conlin and her character are getting the recognition they deserve. Here’s what Cinema Blend had to say:
Angela Montenegro – Bones: Bones’ best friend at the Jeffersonian has had a stellar year. While critics consistently wonder at the success of Bones, a show that looked to be on the verge of cancellation when it first appeared, all you have to do is point to the wonderful characters that make the series a perfect companion to House. It also helps that Angela is the non-doctorate common gal who puts things in perspective when cases get gross. She’s often the one to bring up the disgustingness of the gooey mess on the table, and she does the same for the personal lives of the characters as well.
Emily Deschanel & David Boreanaz Interview
January 29, 2009 by Lynn
Thanks so much to Bones fan Natalie for the heads up about this interview with David Boreanaz and Emily Deschanel! They sat down with Oscar Dahl from BuddyTV to answer some questions about Bones.
They are so cute together and it’s obvious that the reason they work so well together on screen is that they are good friends off screen. They start out by explaining why they think the show is so popular and go on to tell how quickly their chemistry started when they met. Somehow, David brings up the Muppets. Guess which Muppet was both of their favorite. And for some reason, David thinks it would be great to solve crimes with Kermit the Frog. There’s not a lot of real content here, but it’s a fun clip to watch them interact and see how much fun they have together.
Hart Hanson Says, “Roxy’s a Bump in the Road”
January 28, 2009 by Lynn
Michael Ausiello has given us a new spoiler for Bones that I suspect you may be excited about. In the video clip of Ausiello’s spoilers this week, he asks Bones‘ Executive Producer Hart Hanson if Roxy will be around a while on the show. Hart makes no bones about it (sorry for the bad pun…), Roxy is just a bump in the road. Hodgens is Angela’s man.
Now that’s good news! I know everyone’s been waiting for something promising for Hodgela to happen. I don’t know when or where this season, but it looks like Roxy will make her exit, leaving Angela to work things out with Hodgens.
Stay tuned Bones fans. I’ll keep you updated as details emerge.

Thank goodness I go through my spam mail folder now and then because that’s how I found an email about this from Searching Bones reader Laura!! Thanks Laura!!
It seems that Emily Deschanel’s little sister Zooey Deschanel is engaged to be married. Her fiancee, Ben Gibbard of Death Cab for Cutie is said to be ecstatic about it and I’m sure Zooey is too.
I wish them both the best and will update you as details are released.
Emily Deschanel on Ellen Degeneres Show This Week
January 23, 2009 by Lynn
Emily Deschanel was a guest yesterday on the Ellen Degeneres Show. I found out about it too late to post to make sure you watched, but I’ve done the next best thing. I found a clip of her appearance on the show for you to enjoy. So you didn’t have to miss it after all.
She’s so cute in this interview. She tells Ellen about how she watches the show and when she saw Ellen in a restaurant, she reacted as if she already knew her…then she realized that they had never actually met. Very cute. She also tells how she used to watch all the reality forensic shows before she even got the part on Bones. She would get all freaked out by them. It’s great to know she’s just like the rest of us…
Bones Episode 4.13 – “The Fire in the Ice” Spoiler Photos

Episode 4.13 – The Fire in the Ice
Air Date: January 22, 2009
Folks, they are playing with the order of the episodes again this season. Originally, the episode about the Grave Digger was supposed to air after The Double Trouble in the Panhandle on January 22. But they have swapped it with The Fire in the Ice. The Grave Digger episode, The Hero in the Hold will be pushed back to air on February 5. I know, it’s so confusing. But the really fantastic news is that there are still going to be two brand new episodes airing on Thursday January 22. That’s cause for celebration in my house!
Here are some photos from The Fire in the Ice:

Booth (David Boreanaz, R) teaches Brennan (Emily Deschanel, L) to skate in the second hour of the BONES 2-hour time period premiere “Double Trouble in the Panhandle/Fire in the Ice” airing Thursday, Jan. 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
