Brendan Fehr (“Roswell”) Guest-Stars as Booth’s Brother Jared
Booth and Brennan investigate the scene where a body was uncovered during a botched practice police raid. The team identifies the body as a struggling inventor’s father who had recently reunited with his son. But when a second body surfaces, the team is led on a trail of deception to find out who was the actual con-man in the inventor’s life. Clark Edison returns to the lab, and he and Hodgins work on piecing together blueprints from one of the inventor’s potentially valuable inventions. Meanwhile, Booth’s younger brother Jared (guest star Brendan Fehr) moves to D.C. to take a job at the Pentagon, and Brennan, smitten with Jared, agrees to go on a date with him to a White House function. Her date with Jared leads her to learn information about Booth’s past and give her a far greater understanding into her partner’s motives in “The Con Man in the Meth Lab” episode of BONES airing Wednesday, Nov. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. I really loved this episode
Seriously, did anyone else think that Jared was a total and complete jerk? God, what an ass! I was grinning when Bones told him off. Grrrrr.
Very good episode.I feel and sad for Booth to Jared,but I’m glad Brennan care and support Booth and ared is so jerk.David Boreanaz is very good emotion with angry,so serious and tear this episode.
of course i loved the episode but i think back over the 4 seasons and REALLY dont think that brennan would of EVER been like that towards booth! xx

Jared is the King Bee of the a***les. What I really found shallow on his part was is talking his brother down to shine light upon himself and to make a pass at Brennan. What a jerk. IMHO this is something vile hockey tickets cannot repay.
I was confident Brennan would not fall for the guy, at least not in the “smitten with” sense the spoilers (and wicked ol’ HH) SOOO wanted us to believe.
Has anyone noticed Brennan’s expression when Cam & Sweets (you GOTTA love them) told her they were there to help here take a drastic decision? I bet she thought/feared it was something Booth-related…
Oh, and has anyone else noticed the “pun” between Seeley being maybe “Booth-LITE” and Seeley “never shining LIGHT upon himself” (though being as it is that English is not my mothertongue, I may have got it completely wrong…)

another thing that really ticked me off too was brennan going on about shiney bobbles etc…..i think seeley booth is bloomin covered in shiney bobbles!!!x
I guess Booth has became the quiet man that a big change from season 1 Booth, but this is Hansonland. In Hansonland there are so many PLOT HOLES in a episode it not fun watching. Were was Booth’s boss when he was giving the FBI credit away? How does someone like Jared became a big shoot for the Navy? Is Jared just sully all over again and he has to be better than Booth. A lot of fans do not Like you Mr. H and I think I know way.
