Yes, it really sucks that we have to wait until January for another new episode of Bones. And here’s the promo clip that FOX has released. It’s all old scenes…nothing new. *sigh*

Michaela Conlin attended the Los Angeles Premiere of the Universal Pictures release Frost/Nixon held at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills on November 24. I don’t know about you, but I love, love, love the dress she’s wearing! What a beautiful color and it’s very flattering for her.

A few days ago, fabulous Bones fan Meegan McCauley let me know that she was about to do her walk-on part for Bones. Well, I’m thrilled to tell you that she sent me this really terrific account of her experience. She also sent a photo of her with Emily Deschanel so we will know it’s her when we see her on the show!

I could be jealous, but remember, she paid a good amount to get this opportunity, so she absolutely deserves it!! Here’s how things went for her:

The episode I’m in is “The Princess and the Pear.” The scene is a “comicon” type of thing called “Imagicon” for the show. It’s a convention for comic book, superhero, Medieval fans. I didn’t get to dress up in an actual costume since it was kind last minute that I switched to Friday. So, I just wore bright colors. When the episode airs, you’ll be able to see me and I’m wearing a purple glittery jacket over a pink shimmery top. It’s actually kinda funny ‘cuz I totally matched the curtains they had up.

Episode 4.11: The Bone That Blew

Ryan O’Neal is back as Brennan’s father and by the looks of this promo clip, he may be interfering with an ivestigation by trying to help. It’s a cute clip, check it out:

I found this old video clip with Bones cast talking about the squints. David Boreanaz tells the origin of the term “squints” and they all talk about the special affects, working with all the gross-looking “bodies” and what they like about the show. It’s obviously from season 1, but I enjoyed it a lot and think you will too if you’ve never seen it before.

The Bones season 3 DVDs were just released yesterday, but here’s a one-minute preview of one of the Director’s Cut extras from the set. If you’re like me, and waiting for your copy to arrive in the mail (I hope it arrives today!!) this will give you a sneak peek at the goodies on the DVDs. TJ Thyne talks a little about the filming and the director for episode 3.04, Steven DePaul talks about filming in the lab:

Episode 4.10: The Passenger in the Oven

Here are a couple of preview video clips for tonight’s new episode of Bones, The Passenger in the Oven. In the first clip, it’s obvious that Booth has something other than an investigation on his mind when he sees the cat-eye glasses the Brennan is wearing.

And in the second clip, poor Booth has trouble convincing the flight attendant of his first class status…

Remember back a few months ago when we found out that Meegan was the winner of the Bones walk-on role? Well, as she promised, wonderful Meegan let me know that she will be on set tomorrow to film her part. (Thanks, Meegan!)

Episode 4.10: The Passenger in the Oven

Booth and Brennan are en-route to China where Brennan has been summoned to help identify pre-historic anthropological remains with Booth in tow to watch over her highly-sensitive equipment. However, their flight is disrupted when a flight attendant discovers a fully-cooked human body in the plane’s industrial microwave. Booth and Brennan connect with the team back in the U.S. via internet connection and they use Brennan’s high-tech equipment, as well as odds and ends from the airline passengers, to send evidence back to the Jeffersonian for processing. When they identify the victim as a travel writer working on a controversial story about airline pilots, Booth and Brennan must race against the clock and solve the murder before the plane lands in China and they lose their jurisdiction over the case. Meanwhile, back in the states, Angela and Roxie’s relationship progresses as Hodgins tries to move on in “The Passenger in the Oven.” [Source: FOX]

Spoiler: Booth and Brennan are in a flight heading for China. Booth is squeezed in a seat in coach next to a woman who is reading and another who is snoring. Brennan is enjoying first class. While Booth and Brennan are away Cam, Hodgins, Angela, and Sweets, each plan activities for the weekend. Of course, their plans will change when remains of a woman are found in a microwave oven in the plane. The plane’s captain agrees to let Bones and Booth do their thing as long as they don’t endager the light. The duo has four hours to solve the mystery as, once they land, the investigation will be turned over to China’s police. Sweets and Daisy are still dating. It’s the mark of a naturally beautiful person that they are not ashamed to go out in public with little or no makeup. And this is proof that Emily Deschanel is a natural beauty. She looks lovely even when she’s totally casual as in this photo. It was taken of her when she attended the premiere of The World We Want at The Chinese 6 Theatre.
