Emily Deschanel: One of TV’s Fab Four Leading Ladies!

TV Guide just announced that they will bring together four of the most beautiful and glamorous leading ladies on rival TV networks to talk about the Fall TV lineup. In one studio, TV Guide will gather Emily Deschanel from Bones, along with Kate Walsh from Private Practice, Brooke Shields from Lipstick Jungle and Julia Louis-Dreyfus from The New Adventures of Old Christine. The result will be featured in the September 15th issue of TV Guide Magazine when it hits the newsstands on Thursday, September 11th.

According to TV Guide, Emily has never met the other three women before today and she thinks the experience is a bit “surreal.” When asked about her character, Temperance Brennan, Emily says that the fans are dying to find out:

Are they ever going to get past first base? “We haven’t shot any [love scenes] yet, but they have to take it somewhere, don’t they?” she says. “I know the chase can sometimes be more fun than the catch, but c’mon already! They have a great friendship. They’ve been in so many scary situations and saved each other’s lives – who needs sex when you’re solving crimes?” She adds, “I think when they do get together, it’s going to be so much sweeter. And serious.”

I know I’m excited for the new issue to arrive! I wonder what other things Emily will have to say…
