Bones Fans: Emergency Call for Questions!!!

Friday afternoon I have an exclusive interview with some of the Bones writers scheduled!! The interview we tried to get scheduled a few months ago had to be postponed, but I did my best to get answers to your questions when I talked to David Boreanaz and Hart Hanson.
But this time, I want to give you the chance to ask new questions. I’m interviewing them either way and will do my best to get all the scoop, but I think it’s important to have your questions asked too.
So please either send me an email with your questions, or put them in the comments for this post. I’ll do my best!!
And then be sure to check back on Saturday to see what they have to say. (It’ll take me a bit to get it all typed up afterwards.)

Ah, so many questions…
Well, my main one would be what more info can they give us on the possibility of Angela in another relationship, possibly a fem/fem one with a so-called Roxy?
Uh… how often will we see Zack in season four? Will there be more explanations as to what he did and why? (Especially because the stabber in “The Knight on the Grid” was definitely not Zack.)
Other than that… well, I’ve got tons of questions but I’m sure everyone else does too. So I’ll just leave it at these two. Heh.
How about a release date for season 3 DVD?
well i can only think of one right now…
what’s the deal with Sully? are we every going to see him again? i don’t mind if he stays on his sail boat for a little while longer though…but just wondering lol
What was the worst side-effect that the writer’s strike had on Bones?
Well, seeing as how they’re writers, can you ask them who the character is that they most like to write and why?
Ooh, thought of another one. Could you ask them if they would be able to slip a reference to this website in there? Like, someone could say, “I’m through searching bones! It’s time for lunch!” or something dumb like that. Just a little something for all of the Bones junkies that haunt this site. Or maybe some kind of phrase or something we could watch for… Rambling… Stopping…
I want to know if more of Brennan´s family issues are going to be developed in season 4. I have heard that Booth´s family is going to appear, but now that Max is a free man, what will happen to Bones family?
‘Cause I’m deaf myself, I wonder why B & B is never meting a physical hanicapped witness/suspect? I meant those as deaf/blind/CP etc. I know there has been a deaf victim and a man in a invalidchair (cause of an accident), but what about us others?

I have so many questions about Bones. When is the third season going to be on DVD in stores? Are Brennan and Booth going to get together once and for all? Is Zach going to be out of the Hospital and back with the team in season four?Will more of Booth’s past be revealed? Is Angela and Hdgins going to get back together again?
After the gravedigger is resolved, will the Jeffersonian team get a breather from serial killers on their tails for at least a little while?
As much as we love the ‘Cocky’ belt buckle, is Booth ever going to buy another one? Maybe Brennan could get him one as a gift?
Fans loved the pottery class scene and Brennan singing and wished to see the bowling that was only referenced. Any plans to get Booth and Brennan in non-work settings more?
Are there any more plans for on-location shoots, in this country or any other?
Can you tell us anything more about the Alt-Reality episode plans?
Will we be seeing a lot more of Ryan O’Neal as Max now that he’s free of the murder charge?
Does Cullen still work for the FBI and will we ever see him after Booth again?
Any casting news on Booth’s family?
I have some:
Looking back at Season 1, there was a darker aspect to Booth’s character. Was it a deliberate decision to try a lighter approach for the sake of comedy? Will we ever re-visit Dark!Booth? Because I’d love to see that side of him, and how his past still affects him.
Please let the writers know that they really, really need to pick up loose ends, or it will be insulting to the fans. Goodman has been on sabbatical forever, and Cullen is MIA. Please, just throw the fans a line about their whereabouts. I heard something about an episode where Characters like Sid from S1 make an appearance, that would be awesome. I thought it was a nice touch when they brought Clark Edison back for Verdict; something like that is very much appreciated!
Next question: With Brennan and Booth acting like an old couple sometimes, do the writers sometimes feel that they may have missed the moment for them to romantically hook up onscreen?
What’s with the cases lately? Maybe it’s just me but I feel that they have been less compelling for the past few episodes, and I miss the relating to the victims and families that was such a big part of the show in the previous season. What’s the reason behind that?
And another one for the actors: After working long days like that for months and years, being either Dr. Brennan, Agent Booth, Dr. Hodgins, etc., how difficult is it to go home and be yourself? Are they already sometimes starting to feel like their character? Or is this something you need to learn to “compartmentalize”?
Please make sure to let them know that there is a huge international fanbase (and that they totally need to make the online episodes available to people outside the US, although that is probably more relevant to Fox than the writers). And that they always choose great music for the episodes!!!
Another one:
In general, do the writers own their entire episode, creatively speaking? Meaning – do they come up with the entire idea, write it all, etc? Or is there sort of a general idea-generating meeting of the minds from which all the cases and character stories originate?
Sorry, I too have another one/two:
With Zach gone from the lab and “just” grad students there, will we get Brennan back in the lab more, doing her little magic? She’s been mostly out in the field during S3, and I miss those lab scenes.
And what exactly IS the aftermath of the Christmas kiss? During the interviews after the writer’s strike everybody said that they have to deal with the kiss in the next few episodes but I really didn’t see any of that. Or is that just me?
I like some of the questions already posted such as…
1. Booth’s darker side and family. In “A boy in a Bush”, while questioning Shawn Booth mentions having a brother. Is this true or was it a ploy to get answers from the child? Will we see Booth’s brother?
I would like to see Parker more. Maybe some of Parker schoolmates find some bones at school.
2. Gravedigger. Who is he? Maybe combine this with the finding of bones at Parker’s school.
3. Missing characters…Cullen, Dr. Goodman, Gordon Gordon, and of course Zach.
4. B & B kissed…but it has never been mentioned.
The original plan, it’s been said, was that Zack was approached by Gormogon, rebuffed him, and was then killed. How were the writers planning on executing this? Was the Jeffersonian team going to start getting pieces of his remains sent to the lab? Would he have been killed on-screen? The idea is horrifying, and I think I would have locked myself in a room for a week, but I’m so curious.
(1)Where the heck is Booth’s family? We need to see them to learn more about him. Far too long not knowing about Booth. Brennans family has been done enough and kinda boring now (2) Where are Booth’s independant storylines? Like seeing him at home, being a dad to Parker, out with his friends, at a sporting event. Guess I am saying that David deserves better storylines.
Oh and Where is Booth’s love interest? Would it be too much ask for the writers to acknowledge that Booth is a caring, hot, red blooded man, and would be a terrific catch for any woman! It would be nice if the cast would note this everynow again. Maybe have a hot honey making a play for him, and catching his interest, with Brennan finally realizing that she has feelings for Booth and telling Angela that she is jealous. Thanks
Ask if Booth and Brennan are going to kiss a lot this season. if they’re getting together (for good), and you HAVE to ask about B/B in bed naked together!
I am wondering a lot about the Gravedigger. Are they planning to revisit him in the fourth season? How will Brennan and Hodgins react, especially with the stress of the previous season still upon them?
And I would also like the show to explore more of Booth’s past. I liked his darker side in season one, and I think it’s time to revisit that. Will his family possibly play any part in bringing those issues to the surface?
Will we be seeing more of the Angelator??

2. Do you find it very difficult to find new material for different cases? Is there a method to the madness of writing?
3. How long does it take to write a single script? What is the total time from beginning of writing the script to the time you’ve finished editing the film?
4. Do you take seriously the actors’ storyline suggestions?

Ask-Did Brennan and Booth like each other more than friends this season?
Ask-It is Booth will jealous if Brennan dating someone this season?

And which will be the actors that will interpret

Is there something they wrote early on in the series that they now wish they hadn’t? – something they would have taken down a different road if they could go back and do it differently? (or break cannon… )
ok this might be kind of dumb but it always talked about how Zach’s IQ was well above 180 and I’ve always wondered what Bones’ IQ was…is she smarter than Zach

by the end of season 4 how much will the B/B relationship have progressed?…that might be asking a little much

Has the reaction of the fans over the Season 3 finale had any impact on future plans? Have you tried to redeem that g-d-awful ending in any way in Season 4? Or even, regarding the Season 3 finale, – what were you all thinking????

Q.1 Booth needs some female attention, it is about time we see a jealous Brennan, cos hello Booth could have his choice of any woman he wanted. And I want to see Booth having fun in a happy relationship.
Q.2 Why is Sweets in the interrogation scenes with Booth. That is Booth’s job, he is the FBI, he is the one that reads people and works from the gut. It feels that the writers are taking away from Booth by doing this. Give annoying Sweets something else to do not Booth’s job!
Q. Why haven’t there been more Parker and Booth scenes? Those to really shine together. Can we have an episode like a day in the life of Booth. We could see Booth and Parker spending the day together, playing , cooking together, some interaction at Booth’s home with the kid, how he deals with having a child and being a FBI agent – the storys are endless for these two. Please lets learn more about Booth and his family.
Okay since I’m seeing a lot about the Gravedigger here, I was wondering if theyre ever planning on letting us know exactly what was in that letter than Brennan wrote on the page of her book just before the explosion. It would be great to bring that back up when that case gets re-opened

I wonder if we will see more quarreling between Booth and Brennan this season. Maybe Sully comes back or Booth gets a girlfriend and they get jealous. Then they could have a big blowout filled with sexual tension. I would also like to see them in a situation like Hodgins and Brennan were in in the gravedigger episode.
It seems I’m not alone in wondering what the writers have done to the character of Booth. With the changes the writers have lost why Booth was so good at his job. The writers seems to think the fans have not been watching, and the characters can became killers , dumb are anything they want them to be that week.
Too late for some last minute questions? Hope not.
Have they writers ever planned and written a scene that turned out totally different on screen, due to interpretation or editing or such?
Has there ever been an episode or scene where the writers felt that the fans totally misunderstood or misinterpreted what they were trying to do?
And last one: Personally, I think it would have made a lot of sense to have a two hour finale episode instead of a two hour premiere now to give both storylines enough room. Who gets to make decisions like that? The showrunners, the network? How much say do the writers have in that?
