Emily Deschanel Talks About Animals’ Rights

Fans of Emily Deschanel know that she is very committed to helping organizations dealing with animal rights issues. Besides being a vegan, she supports many efforts to help the plight of animals. I admire that about her and I applaud her dedication.
In this video clip, filmed at this year’s Genesis Awards Ceremony, she talks about which animal rights issues are most dear to her heart, why she currently doesn’t have a pet (sadly, her family dog just died!) and even mentions that she shares a duplex with her sister Zooey.

I’m impressed by the quality of her answers. She has good knowledge of the subject, she’s both interesting and intelligent… And I love the polite ”my pleasure” in the end! Funny how she sounded like Bones while explaining things.
