The Booth In the Bathtub Scene!

Ok, I think it’s safe to say that the very best scene in last night’s episode of Bones was the scene with Booth in the bathtub reading a comic book, smoking a cigar and drinking beer from a hat. Brennan barges in and what follows is a hilarious scene. This is truly priceless!!

The bathtub scene was priceless. Pure, and oh so hilarious. What really had me going was when he stood up and Brennan goes ‘Want a towel…?’ Hilarious and classical. Well done direcs.
Jamie, I agree. I loved his silly hat, oh and the Green Lantern referance. Seeing as how David is playing the Green Lantern ^^
I couldn’t stop laughing at that scene. It was so outrageous and not to mention, somewhat disturbing that he has that much going on while taking a bath, lol. It was a funny scene though, especially when Sweets questioned him and Booth was like, “It’s my bathroom! What do you wear in the tub? Floaties!?”

The Bathtub Scene was PRICELESS! I loved that he was not even worried about being naked…it was Brennen who had to point it out asking him if he wanted a towel. This was a scene for the books…loved it!
I love Bathtub Scene,it was funny.Booth and Brennan are fight about death.Booth stand and naked and Brennan asked him-if he need get towel then make me laugh.
I also liked afterwards when hes complaining that
“Wait, Bones breaks into my house, into my bathroom, and I’m weird for being naked??”
Neochick, that was my favorite statement from Booth in the ENTIRE EPISODE! XD
Ah, good choice, direcs. Starting the epi off with a funeral and naked Booth. *drools*
Scenes like this one tend to make up for the other deficiencies and keep me from abandoning the show entirely. Although, again, they both seemed out of character. I couldn’t believe it when Brennan exclaimed that Booth’s behavior demonstrated his lack of concern for her and that he’d look into why she wasn’t told ‘if it was important to him’. That all seemed pretty passive aggressive for Brennan.
This scene was funny. I never watched Bones until I saw it on hulu. Once I watched the first episode I was hooked. Now I just need season two to catch up on some things. It’s a great show.
this scene was funny…but i think BB were a bit out of character….

Thank you, Lynn, for reminding us of the lighter parts of this show! I feel like this scene was constructed by throwing things that would make Booth look silly into a hat, then the writers going, “Oh, let’s just use all of them.” A little out of character, yes, but it was a great way for Bones to catch Booth waaaaaaay off-guard.

Although I really liked Booth in bathtub ;o), it seems to me REALLY out of character…I mean, well, Bones could act like this, but Booth acts in similar situations more shy…and there, he even stood up…to me that was really weird. Well, whole episode was “out of character” and “unbelievable”…

I had no problem with Booth standing up in the buff. He was defending himself of Brennan’s ludicrous statement of he didn’t care, for someone so smart she can be pretty dumb sometimes. Booth cares, jeez, every epi shows he cares and that statement from her, enraged him, so he stood up to her,naked or not. Good for Booth.
