Bones Episode 3.14 – The Pain in the Heart

FOX has released some spoiler photos to get us ready for the season finale of Bones entitled The Pain in the Heart that will air on May 19. We’ve gotten a ton of small teases about the episode, but the whole plot still seems to be mostly a mystery. I guess we’ll all just have to be sure to watch to find out!!

Molly, I agree. I can definatly see Brennan acting that way at the a funeral of anyone dear to her. She would just sit there analyising it, and thinking and talking about anything but the funeral.
I do the same thing. Its a coping/denial method for me.
Its very obvious from that short scene that the walls are up with huge defense again. At that point anyway. Hopefully by the end of the ep, they will have come crashing down again ^^

Neochick, after reading your comment it does make a whole lot more sense. I haven’t really been refreshed on Season Three, so I lack on most of the common knowledge, where my mum doesn’t. But then that itself opens a whole other list of people Gormogon could be. Not only don’t we know who the replacement Gormonjnr but we don’t know who Gormonzilla is!
I half agree with my mother on the fact that maybe we won’t find out whot he killer is, but will be left on a spoiler, eagerly awaiting August for the new season and the final key to the huge plot. I hope that is not the case, because seriously I can’t wait to find out who the creep is!

How long till it screens for you guys? its tonight isnt it? i can have it in about 36 hours i think (we only just say Knight on the Grid in New Zealand, but im up todate with the states) im not sure on how long it is till it screens over in the states?

In an interview I read that Emily Deschanel said that we will find out who Gormagal is. She also said that for Brennan it feels like she’s losing people left and right.
Is it on yet? Im hanging out for this… I want to know what happens, but at the same time I want to wait till tommorow morning to watch it. IM SO TORN PEOPLE!!!

Wow…didn’t expect that. Although most of you guessed the whole fake funeral. Kinda hokey, I mean…honestly, I didn’t like it. Though it was funny when she hit him.
OMG OMG OMG!!!! i wanted to believe so bad that i was wrong, but i wasnt. i dont want to ruin it for any of u guys who are gonna watch it tomorrow, but i cant believe who it was. i guess half of u guessed, but still. it kinda sucks.

The ending of the episode was kinda shocking, i didn’t think that it would be him. >< It is a relief to know that booth didn’t die though.

I liked Zach too. Between him and Bones there was always somting to laugh about, both are socially inebt. Zach always reminded me of my son who has Asperger’s. Scary thought…
Quite possibly the worst episode ever. It was lame
Loved the episode, but a bit confused…we know Zac is the Gormogon, but he was injured at the explosion, so who moved the skeleton?
the actual gormagon killer moved the skeleton. the one that booth killed. and i agree with Bill, the episode was lame. I thought that sweets was gormagon for a second cuz they looked the same from the back.
but i did love how zach took hodgins into account when he was thinking about making the explosion and didnt want him to get hurt.

hated the episode. wouldn’t even give it a 3 out of 10. felt like it was slapped together to finish off the gormogon storyline. who did it? who cares, he killed loads of people and still it was the lamest capturing ever. zack killing the guy? what? seriously? did you need to get rid of the best guy on the show so easily. no, that episode has possible lost my faith in the show. without zack what’s the point of watching it?
well zach wasnt the best character altho possibly the funniest when it came to the fact he didnt really understand the real world, now if booth had actually died than the show would be pointless
I loved and hated this episode. I mean why Zack had done what he did seems to be logical. If Zack believed it was logically what he had done, than why not doing it. In the (first?) season when the homeland security woman or what’s ever asks him what he would do when sb. would tell absolutley rational and logical reasons to di sth. he would do it, propably asking his friends before, but don’t forget, his friends have very strong relationships between them (Brennan often away with Booth, Hodgins and Angela making out during lunch break…) So after Iraq he was kinda a bit alone. And Gormogon just told Zack the same what Hodgins told him over years. Even if it was really sad (every time I think about Zack, tears well up) if it had to be one of the squints, Zack was the logical choice, the others are to strong charakters with to strong bondings and to good hearts.
Im in denail about zach being the gormagon apprentice.
it does suck, but i agree with Mary, i loved and hated it. and zach would have been the logical choice among all the squints. it just made me so sad to see him looking out at all his friends like a puppy in a pet shop. thats the part that made me really really sad. but i dont kno, maybe bones’ new grad student will fill in the hole left in our hearts where zach used to be…
I am hoping that Zach will be a character that will not be gone for good. He is “only” going to a looney bin, who knows the team might decide to visit once in a while.

I hope that the whole episode was just a dream that Booth was having while in the operating room. A few things didn’t seem right in the episode for example booth should have had the American flag over his coffin. Parker his parents and rebecca weren’t at the funeral. Booth is very self conscience expecially when it comes to body issues. I really cannot see him standing up in the bath in the nude infront of bones.Never once have we ever seen Booth smoke. I think Booth or someone was dreaming the whole episode. Does anyone know whether Eric Milligan has actually left the series.
Don’t bother answering my last question about Eric Millegan. I checked the Bones site and both Hart Hansen and Eric millegan said he will be in season 4 but not a regular cast member.

Although i really wish it was someone else, Zack was one of my favorite characters in the show since i saw started watching Bones. I wish they had changed it to someone else, being the murderer, Although Zach wasn’t actually Gormogon was he?

Again, I wasn’t trying to be mean. Apologies if that’s how it came off. But I think that the posts I was referring to are by an English speaking person who’s just using “netspeak.” I believe that’s what “u r” instead of “you are,” “y” instead of “why,” and “srry” instead of “sorry” are supposed to mean.
I would think that persons of foreign speaking countries would have a more difficult time trying to figure out netspeak. I do, and I speak English! I guess that was the point I was trying to make. If it’s hard for me to understand, how is it going to be any easier for someone who doesn’t speak the language? And the poster I was referring to seems to speak English just fine.
And as for the punctuation issue, I will consider myself thoroughly chastised…
