Have you been reading the MySpace sites of the characters for tomorrow night’s episode? They have been giving us some insight into the characters, their relationships with each other and other non-related info to throw us off the track.

Here’s the primary cast of characters:

  • Dan is the husband to rising-star chef Carly and the manager for the restaurant the two have opened together. Apparently, Dan is a recovering alcoholic and has a lot of ways that he uses to make money.
  • Carly, his wife is the hot new chef on the scene with a cook book on the bestseller list and the hottest restaurant in town. She’s a klutz and a fun-loving girl, but doesn’t seem to have any hard feelings toward anyone. She just took out an insurance policy because of her success. No word on who the beneficiary might be. (The investors? Dan?)
  • Ben is a former military man who is in the Reserves. He is without money most of the time and is envious of Dan’s money. He works at the restaurant and even invested most of his own money in it, with no return so far. He and his unit will be doing survival training soon.
  • Abby seems to be Dan’s girlfriend, and is the hostess at the restaurant.
  • SushiGuy is a sushi chef that has had a crush on Carly since high school, but seems harmless enough.
  • Chef Hot & Cut is totally jealous of Carly and her success. He feels that he should be the one in the limelight, but his restaurant is mostly empty each night. He’s a single parent and seems to spend far too much time obsessing about Carly’s success. He feels she doesn’t deserve it.

And here is the spoiler for the show:

Brennan and Booth are called by Homeland Security to investigate potentially radioactive remains in “The Glowing Bones in the Old Stone House” episode, directed by Academy Award-nominated cinematographer Caleb Deschanel, father of series star Emily Deschanel. Back at the lab, the team determines the identity of the victim, but has no immediate explanation as to why the remains are emitting a green glow. With each of their specialties called upon, the whole Jeffersonian team joins Brennan and Booth in pursuing the murder mystery, which leads them to a group of friends who are shocked to discover that one of their own is the victim.

The obvious tie-in would be Ben’s involvement in the Reserves. Could he have gotten hold of something during training and used it to do in Carly for the insurance money that would be due the investors?

Sure, we have a creepy guy that has made trouble at the restaurant, but having worked for four years in a restaurant when I was in college, I can tell you, that’s no big news. That sort of thing happens fairly often.

And we have jealous Chef Hot & Cut who wants Carly’s success, but he just strikes me as a guy with a lot of anger. And where would he get something that would make her glow in the dark?

Dan & Carly’s marriage seems ok, so it’s not too likely that either would do away with the other.

SushiGuy has a crush on Carly, but he seems to be an ok guy that has it all in perspective.

My bet is that Ben is involved and came across something in his Reserve training that he uses to try to get his invested money back by doing away with Carly.

It’s a long shot, I admit it. They haven’t made the mystery easy to solve.

Who do you think will be the victim? And who do you think the murderer will be? We have until tomorrow night to find out, but what are you thoughts now? Leave a comment to let us know! :-)
