If I Could Share a Cup of Hot Cocoa With the Characters of Bones…

Here on the Entertainment Channel of b5media, we are doing a Winter Wonderland theme for December. That means that we all will write a post relating to the theme on our blogs, then tie them all together with one post linking to all the themed posts. Sounds confusing, but it’s not.
Anyway, I started trying to think of a way to write about Bones and winter. Well, when I think about snowy winter days, I think about curling up with a good book, a cup of hot cocoa and a cat in my lap. Even better is to spend it catching up with an old friend while watching the snow fall outside. So that’s what I decided to do: write about what I would ask during my imagined cup of cocoa with my “friends,” the characters of Bones.
Questions for Seeley Booth:
Do you really expect anyone to believe the whole “guy friends” thing? What about the way you look at Brennan? That’s not the way a guy looks at another guy (unless he’s gay.) When are you going to confess your true feelings about Brennan? How would you feel if you goof around too long and she meets someone else and falls in love? Have you considered how you would handle things with Cam if you decided to pursue things with Brennan?
Questions for Temperance Brennan:
Talk about having a dysfunctional family and childhood, you have certainly been through a lot. Do you think it will help you or hurt you in future relationships? How do you really feel about Booth? Are you content with the whole “guy friends” thing? Do you think there could ever be more to your relationship than that? And what about your father and your brother? Do you want to see them again? Would you rather they stay away? Would it help you more emotionally to know more about them, or to let them go? Do you think that your lack of a close family situation as a kid has helped your objectivity in your job?
Questions for Hodgela (Angela Montenegro & Jack Hodgins):
What are your intentions for your relationship? Is this a “fling” or do you think it has real lasting power?
Questions for Zack Addy:
What would you have done if Cam had not hired you when you got your doctorate? Are you ok with your new look, or would you rather go back to the old one? Do you think you’ll have a lot more responsibility with investigations, now that you’re a full-fledged scientist?
Questions for Camille Saroyan:
Do you have any idea of the chemistry that exists between Booth & Brennan? If you knew they were secretly in love with each other, how would it make you feel? You say that you are happy with no strings to your relationship with Booth, but what if you had to face him leaving you for her? Would you fight for him? Would you be fine with it and just look for your next guy? Would it make things uncomfortable in the lab?
There are a lot of things I want to find out about from the Bones “friends,” and I’m sure you will have a lot of things you’d like to ask them too, so please leave a comment with your “cocoa chat” thoughts too.

I’d want to ask Hodgins more about some of his conspiracy thories. Mostly his opinion on aliens and what really happened to JFK…
Zack… seriously, man, when are you going to get a girlfriend?
Bones… Why don’t you just poison Cam, to get her out of the way, so then you can get a promotion and Booth all to yourself? That would fix most of the problems, ‘cept your dad and brother.
Booth… Why did you become a sniper if human lives mean so much to you? Seriously, first you are a murderer, now you put them in prison? Irony much?
Cam… Why don’t you find another job before Bones poisons you, or Booth gets bored and snipes you?
Angela… How’d you end up being friends with a robot like Bones? Or is it that you’re trying to fix her? ‘Cause it’s not working, btw.
I love your questions!! I agree. I want to find out more about Hodgins’ conspiracy theories too!
And you might get your wish about Cam. The trailer for the next new episode shows her falling down, foaming at the mouth….

Ironically enough, me too. It haunts me >_> I miss his hair. Aaaand, Lynn, my mom said the same thing to me when I said I want Cam to die.
Ahh, Lily – your comments had me in stitches! Good stuff … I especially like the bit about Cam, and how Booth might snipe her, or Bones might poison her.
Zack seriously needs some loving, though … I agree on that point, and I think Hodgins would be super interesting to talk to, and hear about his conspiracy theories.
